OCD

People with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) experience recurrent, unwelcome thoughts, ideas, or feelings (obsessions). They feel compelled to perform something repeatedly in order to get rid of the thoughts (compulsions). A person's everyday activities and social interactions might be seriously hampered by repetitive behaviours like hand washing/cleaning, checking on things, mentally doing acts like (counting), or other activities.
There are types of OCD:
Hoarding: individuals with hoarding disorder have a strong need to keep a lot of things and feel distress when he/she tries to get rid of them.
Skin excoriation: Excoriation, often known as skin picking, is the repetitive picking at one's own skin. People with this disease touch, rub, scratch, pick, or dig into their skin in an effort to smooth off rough patches or scabs, eradicate perceived flaws, or achieve some other objective. Frequently, tissue damage, discolouration, or scarring are the effects of skin picking.
Trichotillomania: Trichotillomania, also known as hair-pulling condition, is a mental illness that causes persistent, uncontrollable cravings to pull out hair from your scalp, brows, or other parts of your body in spite of your efforts to resist.
