Social Assessment
Social capabilities can be defined as, enabling a person to communicate and behave properly in specific social circumstances. In other words, it evaluates a child’s ability to get along with others , being assertive, coping, building and maintaining close relationships, and acting appropriately in social situations. These assessments are used to measure social and adaptive functioning areas of the child. It helps in identifying any deficits in a child's social skills such as communication, daily living and socialisation.
