School Refusal

A substantial child-motivated resistance to go to school and/or difficulties attending class all day are both examples of school refusal behaviour. Behaviours include children being completely absent from school, attending school but then leaving school during the school time, going to school following intense behaviour problems such as tantrums in the morning, displaying unusual distress during the school day that leads to plead for future nonattendance.
